SVOD Project is committed to protecting your personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This page explains your rights and how to exercise them.

Your Rights Under GDPR

1. Right of Access

You can request a copy of all personal data we hold about you. We’ll respond within 30 days with a complete export.

2. Right to Rectification

If any data we hold is inaccurate or incomplete, you can ask us to correct it. Most personal information can be updated directly in your account dashboard.

3. Right to Erasure (“Right to be Forgotten”)

You can request deletion of your personal data at any time. Note that certain records (order history, invoices) must be retained for 10 years to comply with EU tax law, but all other data will be removed.

4. Right to Restrict Processing

You can ask us to stop processing your data while a dispute is being resolved or while we verify the accuracy of data.

5. Right to Data Portability

You can request your data in a machine-readable format (JSON or CSV) so you can take it elsewhere.

6. Right to Object

You can object to data processing based on legitimate interest. We’ll review each request individually.

7. Right to Withdraw Consent

Where processing is based on consent (e.g. newsletter subscription), you can withdraw it at any time without affecting past processing.

8. Right to Lodge a Complaint

If you believe we’ve mishandled your personal data, you have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@svod-programmer.com with:

  • Your full name
  • The email address associated with your account or orders
  • A clear description of your request
  • Proof of identity (for security — we’ll never process deletion or export requests without verifying identity first)

We respond to all GDPR requests within 30 days. If we need longer in complex cases, we’ll let you know within that initial window.
